Why send your child to our school?
We are very proud of our Reception ethos and provision. We want children to be lifelong learners and feel confident in moving to the next stage of their education. We wish to give children an excellent primary education where every subject is valued and taught expertly. We have superb teachers who give a wonderful start to children’s education. We provide outstanding Early Years education and our children continue through the school as curious, independent and resilient learners.
How many classes are in the school and what is the class size?
We have 2 classes of 30 children in each year group.
What are the times of the school day?
The times of the school day varies for different year groups. See our website page for opening and closing times of the day.
Is there a before and after school club?
Yes. We have a breakfast and after school club. This runs from 3.10 until 6.00pm.
Do you have a school uniform?
Yes. All children are expected to wear our school uniform. More information can be found on our website.
How will I know how my child is getting on?
We have two face to face parent consultations per year and we will provide a written end of year report. Teachers are happy to meet to talk about your child’s progress as and when the need arises.
What do I do if I am worried about my child?
Your child’s class teacher is always the first point of contact however phase leaders and members of the Leadership team are on hand to discuss any concerns.
Are there extra-curricular activities?
We are very pleased with the variety of after school activities in our school. Clubs for reception pupils aim to start in the Spring Term.
